ATLFW x Bloomingdale’s lenox suare to launch “the fashion incubator” for emerging designers
Atlanta, GA, Oct. 21, 2024 – Atlanta Fashion Week (ATLFW) and Bloomingdale's are proud to announce an exciting new partnership: The Fashion Incubator. This initiative is designed to foster the growth of independent fashion and accessory brands, providing emerging designers with the resources, mentorship, and retail space to scale up and succeed in the fashion industry. In partnership with Bloomingdale's, The Fashion Incubator will offer select designers access to exclusive retail space for three months, giving them the unique opportunity to test consumer demand, showcase their brand stories, and build brand awareness within one of the world's most iconic retail environments. The initiative will also provide emerging brands with a platform to engage with their target audience through various offline sales strategies, creating an experience that blends urgency, exclusivity, and community engagement.
As a leader in culture and innovation, Atlanta is the perfect city to launch this groundbreaking partnership. The city is a burgeoning hub for fashion and creativity, and The Fashion Incubator is poised to serve as a launchpad for independent designers.
Through this partnership, Bloomingdale's and Atlanta Fashion Week are offering a test market for designers to grow their brand, with the potential to scale into multiple locations and achieve significant retail milestones, including multi-store SKUs. The Fashion Incubator will launch with three exceptionally talented designers:
Alani Taylor, a high fashion streetwear brand based in Atlanta, GA that creates distinctive and trendy aesthetics by using bold and edgy styles.
BRUXE Footwear is inspired by the founder's facination with style and fashion at an early age, is a luxury footwear line that daringly pushes boundaries and sets trends.
GOAT by James King, founded in 2018, is an Atlanta-based lifestyle brand that is true to preserving classics and finds inspiration in prep, sportswear, and tailoring.
This carefully curated trio of designers will have the opportunity to build relationships with Bloomingdale's customers, drive sales, and connect with fashion lovers across multiple channels. Their designs will be showcased in the Lenox Square showroom and featured in two exclusive activations and trunk show opportunities.
